Our Statement of Belief

We believe the Bible alone is sufficient for the rules of faith and practice. All man-made rules, creeds, and traditions have no place in the doctrine of the Divinely led church.   (2 Tim. 3:16-17)

We believe the requirements for one becoming a Christian today are the same as on the day of Pentecost when Peter preached the first gospel sermon:  accept Jesus Christ as your Lord and Savior, repent of your sins, and be baptized by immersion for the remission of sins. (Mt. 28:19-20; Acts 2:36-39)

We believe that salvation is given as a free gift from God the Father through His Son, Jesus Christ. Salvation is accepted by us through faith, repentance, baptism and obedience. God desires us to live transformed lives that praise and worship Him faithfully.  (Rom. 12:1-2; Eph. 2:4-10; Heb. 10:23-25)

We believe the Lord’s Supper is a memorial service that was shared by all believers in the early Christian Church on every Lord’s Day (Acts 2:42; 20:7). During this time, Christians are encouraged to remember Christ’s sacrifice for our sins, His death, and resurrection. We also look forward to His coming again.          (1 Cor. 11:23-30)
